Prentiss Miller
Prentiss is a singer/songwriter and worship leader in Iowa, Louisiana. He spent seven years in
Nashville learning the craft of songwriting. He played many writers's nights around town
including as ASCAP showcase at "The Bluebird Cafe" with B.W.Stevenson and
Garth Brooks. Soon after he was signed to a staff writing deal with Paul Overstreet's
publishing company.
While working at the company he learned many things about songwriting and the music business.
He had the opportunity to meet and write with other writers, many who have gone on to find
success.
He has written songs with Terri Clark, Paul, and many others. His first cut was a song he
wrote titled "Ol Gideon Bible". When the song began to get national attention,
God began to show him that these were the kind of songs that would become his style of writing.
